RAF Davidstow, situated on the fringe of the enigmatic and haunted Bodmin Moor, has a history of bravery, disaster, and sacrifice. Since opening in October 1942, the airfield has witnessed tales of immense courage and significant achievements. The American bombers, the Royal Canadian Air Force, the Polish Air Force, and the RAF have utilised the site. Unfortunately, the airfield has also seen its share of disasters, with around 40 air crashes and over 100 aircrews lost their lives.
